Texans for Fiscal Responsibility has endorsed businessman Ron Simmons in his 2012 campaign for district 65 of the Texas House.
“Ron Simmons is a principled conservative who will bring much-needed energy to the Texas House,” said the president of Texans for Fiscal Responsibility, Michael Quinn Sullivan. “Ron Simmons can be counted on to oppose new taxes, fight to reduce Texans’ tax burden, and demand greater accountability for how our money is being spent in Austin.”
Simmons is seeking the Republican nomination in an open-seat created by the retirement of State Rep. Burt Solomons. The primary election will be Tuesday, May 29.
“In Ron Simmons, Denton County voters will have a dedicated public servant strongly fighting for the conservative values and principles that Texas families are demanding.”
