Today the Empower Texans PAC announced another round of legislative primary endorsements, adding to the 61 legislative races announced last week.

The Empower Texans PAC is the political arm of Texans for Fiscal Responsibility and EmpowerTexans.com, working with more than 50,000 activist leaders around the Lone Star State. The organization promotes sound fiscal policy, conservative principles and commonsense solutions.

"We're pleased to stand alongside these men and women, as they seek to bring commonsense solutions to the practical issues facing Texans," said Michael Quinn Sullivan, president of Empower Texans and treasurer of the PAC. "In uncertain economic times, Texans are demanding policy leaders who are committed to wisely stewarding the taxpayers' resources to the benefit of all Texans."

Those incumbents being endorsed for re-election include: Rob Eissler in HD 15, Ryan Guillen in HD 31, Todd Hunter in HD 32, Aaron Pena in HD 40, and Rob Orr in HD 58.

Other legislative candidates endorsed: Pat McGuinness in HD 50, Larry Gonzales in HD 52, Yolanda Sotelo Garza in HD 74, Jim Landtroop in HD 85, Victor Leal in HD 87, Barbara Nash in HD 93, Lyle Larson in HD 122, and Jim Murphy in HD 133

Sullivan noted that endorsements in other contested races are still being considered.
