We established the Empower Texans Political Action Committee to promote men and women who will fight for taxpayer protections, a free economy and sound public policy.

The recently concluded 2009 legislative session highlights why the Empower Texans PAC is so despeately needed. The average legislator score on the Fiscal Responsibility Index was a 52.09% -- far below failing. Republicans in the Texas House had an 81.7, while Democrats a 30.9.
