Erin Anderson is the Metroplex Bureau Chief for Empower Texans and Texas Scorecard, reporting on state and local issues, events, and government actions that impact people in communities throughout the area.
A native Texan, Erin grew up in the Houston area and now lives in Collin County. She first got involved in conservative grassroots activism with the Tea Party movement in 2009 and has been making up for lost time ever since. Prior to joining Empower Texans, Erin spent four years advocating for free and fair elections and engaging voters in the electoral process.
Erin’s work experience includes many years as a professional office administrator and legal secretary, as well as teaching at Lone Star College.
Erin is also a Certified Personal Trainer, Fitness Instructor and Yoga Teacher, but these days hits the gym just for fun. Also for fun, Erin enjoys good food, potent potables, and music – preferably all Texan.
