Reagan Reed is the Houston Correspondent for Empower Texans and Texas Scorecard.
Born and raised in Montgomery County, Reagan took an interest in politics at an early age, volunteering for numerous grassroots campaigns and attending government meetings to track votes and hold elected officials accountable. In the 2014 election, Reagan interned for Governor Abbott’s campaign, and was an intern for a State Representative during the 84th Legislative Session. At the age of 19, Reagan was elected as a Republican Precinct Chair, and is the youngest Precinct Chair in Montgomery County.
A homeschool graduate, Reagan is nearing completion of his Bachelor’s Degree in History from Thomas Edison State College. He is a Patriot Academy Alumni, and is an Empower Texans Conservative Leader Award recipient.
In addition to his political involvement, Reagan enjoys studying theology, history, philosophy, and archeology, auditing classes at a local seminary and attending library and museum lectures. He is an active member of Lakeside Bible Church.
